The contributions made towards the islands education department by Dr.Robert thorugh his hard work has been recognised be her magisty the queen. As a result Dr.Roberts has recieved an invitation to Buckingham Palace where he will be knighted to Sir Steven Roberts.

Dr.Roberts came to the island in 2004 from the mainland where he was teaching in a HMC sixth form college. He was given the responsibilty of being the head of the English department at Vicotia College, he has been very succesful in earing his respect both from staff and students.

Having taught two batches of GCSE and A level students, his effort can be seen in the results of his students. All students he has taught for english language and literature have achieved A grades, some making it to the top ten in the country.

The headmaster Robert Cook was pleased to say: "We admire and appreciate Dr.Roberts devotion to teaching which is giving Victoria College studnets quality education".
